Students are welcome to book one or several lessons as a "one-off" or can have a lesson (or several lessons) each week and pay weekly. Weekly payments can be stopped at any time. "One-off" lessons may be scheduled subject to availability. However, the schedule is very busy so the best way to guarantee a space is to book a weekly lesson for the year.
A regular time is of course easier for both the students and the tutor, but if a student needs a different time for one week, needs a different time for several weeks or needs to change to a different regular time, our best efforts will be made to accommodate this, subject to availability.
You can either substitute your regular maths lesson for chemistry this week, do half chemistry and half maths this week, or buy an extra lesson as a one-off. Students are very welcome to ask a science question at any time during a maths lesson (or the other way around).

I usually teach NCEA (or equivalent) material but every year I take a small number of year 9 and 10 students who are looking for extension work.
If you are the same year, same ability and doing the same subject, then yes! I will also check that parents of both students agree.
Yes, I have been providing online lessons since 2018, usually to students who have moved away from Wanaka and wish to continue with tutoring. Online lessons are also available if a student is sick, cannot organise transport to tutoring, is temporarily away from Wanaka, and so on. Any student is welcome to have an online lesson at any time and no advance notice is required.
